About Anna & Safiya
Anna and Safiya are two dancers based in Ottawa-Hull who teach and perform as a team. Seasoned performers and consciencious teachers, they love to share their love of Middle Eastern dance, music and culture with audiences and students.

Anna
Anna was introduced to Egyptian dance by Denise Enan. She continued her studies with Shadia, Hala & Safiya. A beautiful dancer in her own right, she was been teaching since 2005 and performs regularly for Arabic and Canadian audiences alike.
Discover Anna's mesmerizing style full of strength and technical precision and well balanced with snakey undulations and a charming Mona Lisa smile. She is trully captivating!
Anna recognizes the importance of on-going learning. Dedicated to her own improvement, she regularly attends workshops and master classes with dancers such as Jalilah, Hadia, Natalie Lebel and others within her geographical reach.

Safiya
Safiya discovered bellydance with Shadia 2000 and has never looked back. She began teaching with Hala Jamal in 2003 and has shared her passion with many students since that day. Safiya's childhood dance and theatre experience lends a natural grace to her steps that compliments her diplomatic personality.
Let Safiya's joyful and earthy movements take you to a land far away. Her technical finesse and sharp memory for choreography will astound you while her feminine energy and flowing grace will captivate you.
Some of Safiya's favourite teachers include Jalilah, Natalie Lebel and Jillina. Always eager to expand her knowledge and help others learn, Safiya is a natural teacher because she is a humble student.
